Tutoring Platform for Bio-Pharmaceutical Sciences
„Aesculapius" organizes tutoring sessions for BFW students in subjects such as Organic Chemistry 1 & 2, Statistics 1 & 2, and Calculus, which are included in the tutoring program.
Tutoring
In addition to the tutoring sessions, extra tutoring is also offered. Students can be guided individually or in pairs by a senior student in a particular subject, with the goal of helping them pass the course. The student providing the tutoring must have achieved a grade of 7.5 or higher in the subject. It is important to note that tutoring is only available to students who are members of the L.P.S.V. "Aesculapius". The tutoring costs €15.00 per hour and will generally take place at the Gorleaus Laboratories in Leiden. An exception can be made on special request, in agreement with both parties.

Tutorial Sessions
Currently, support for difficult subjects is offered in the form of tutorial sessions. During a tutorial session, extra preparation is provided to a small group of students just before an exam. The sessions are offered for a small financial fee. However, students are expected to be well-prepared on their own before the tutorial begins. Keep an eye on the weekly email, website, and Facebook for more information and dates.
