The Honours Academy
The Honours Academy at Leiden University offers special programs for motivated and talented students who are looking for more challenges alongside their regular studies. The goal of the Honours Academy is to provide students with the opportunity to further develop their academic and personal skills through extracurricular programs. There are various programs available for both bachelor’s and master’s students.
Honours College (Bachelor Programs)
This program is designed for bachelor’s students who wish to deepen or broaden their studies. Students can choose from various honours tracks depending on their academic background. They work together in multidisciplinary teams and take additional courses that encourage them to think beyond their regular studies.
Master Honours Classes
For master’s students, the Honours Academy offers advanced and interdisciplinary honours classes. These are challenging courses that go beyond the content of the master's program. The courses focus on themes such as leadership, societal impact, and innovation.
