Sister associations
Sister Associations
„Aesculapius” maintains close contact with its sister associations in Groningen (“Pharmaciae Sacrum”), Utrecht (“Unitas Pharmaceuticorum”), and Amsterdam ("VCSVU"). Together with these associations, activities such as a sports day, a Career Day, a Personal Development Day, and a congress are organized. The four associations together form the Royal Dutch Pharmaceutical Students Association (K.N.P.S.V.), which maintains contact with, among others, professional organizations and the pharmaceutical industry. Furthermore, the boards of the K.N.P.S.V. branches attend each other’s general members' meetings.
In addition, „Aesculapius” maintains contact with all chemical sister associations that are members of the KNCV. Moreover, „Aesculapius” is in touch with other science-related associations at Leiden University. The board meets with them in the Associations Council (VerO) to discuss joint activities such as the Faculty Party, the Science Gala, the Open Stage, and other matters relevant to the associations. Finally, the association also maintains contact with all other student associations at Leiden University through the Student Associations Consultation Platform (StOP).
