Ph.V.D. 'Hygeia'

Since 2005, the K.N.P.S.V. has been enriched by a fantastic dispute – in that year, the Pharmaceutical Women’s Dispute 'Hygeia' was founded! At the annual K.N.P.S.V. Congress, one or more new ladies from each city are invited to join us. This tradition means that our dispute now consists of no less than 46 enthusiastic members from Groningen, Leiden, and Utrecht!

At ‘Hygeia’, socializing is absolutely central. We have dinner together once a month and often end these evenings with a few (or more) drinks in one of the three cities. Equipped with our traditional pink gadget, we love attending the galas of the three departments, where we can always be found. We are also often present at K.N.P.S.V. activities, recognizable by our unmistakable pink attire. So, don't hesitate to approach us if you have any questions or if you're interested in our fun dispute!

A real highlight of ‘Hygeia’ are the Spring and Autumn weekends, where we, a large group of ladies, visit a random village in the Netherlands for a weekend getaway. Sports activities, relaxation, partying – you name it, it’s all part of the ‘Hygeia’ weekend!

In 2015, we celebrated our 2nd Lustrum and, in honor of this, went on a long weekend trip to Belgium in the spring and a week to Rhodes in the summer. Additionally, we organized a fantastic gala for all K.N.P.S.V. members together with L.P.H.D. ‘Don Durk’.

Besides the regular activities like dinners and weekend trips, we also organize various activities such as a mother-daughter day, a cycling dinner, and the new cohort organizes a fun activity in the summer.

In short, ‘Hygeia’ stands for a lot of fun and, above all, doing great things together! Because we don’t want to keep this fantastic atmosphere to ourselves, we also organize an annual activity around January/February, where all K.N.P.S.V. members are welcome. In recent years, this has often been a karaoke night, which has been a huge success every time.

We hope to see you soon at the K.N.P.S.V. activities, one of the galas, and of course, our own ‘Hygeia’ activity!

Lots of love,
Ph.V.D. ‘Hygeia’
