LACDR

The LACDR, Leiden Academic Centre for Drug Research, is the research institute where we receive our education. It is also the place where the majority of students complete their internships during their studies. However, you can also start working at the LACDR after your master's degree, especially by pursuing a PhD. This usually results from an internship at the LACDR, but if you're interested, be sure to contact the head of the relevant department or reach out to the study advisors.

CHDR

The Centre for Human Drug Research (CHDR) is a foundation based in Leiden. Every year, dozens of studies are conducted with healthy volunteers and patients. Are you interested in participating in a study or looking for a fun part-time job alongside your studies? We have several opportunities for you!

Participant
As a participant, you make an essential contribution to the development of new medicines. Participants are compensated for their time and efforts. Working at CHDR
We offer several part-time options:

You can work as a call agent if you are available at least two days a week. Within this team, you will focus on recruiting participants for studies.
If you're studying Medicine, you can support our Clinical Unit and perform medical procedures needed for various studies. We also require a minimum availability of two days per week for this role.
If you enjoy logistics and supporting tasks and are available on Thursdays, we are looking for you in the Clinical Unit Operations team. You will be responsible for picking up medication from the LUMC pharmacy and delivering it to the relevant departments. Additionally, you'll be responsible for transport between our various locations.
If you're studying Biomedical, Bio-Pharmaceutical Sciences, or another Life Science field, the role of measurement assistant might be for you. In this role, you'll perform measurements on participants in different studies and setups.

Eurodrug

Eurodrug is an international pharmaceutical company that develops and distributes innovative medicines. They focus on various therapeutic areas, such as infectious diseases and pain management, with a strong emphasis on quality and compliance with international standards.

The position is Medical Marketing Manager. The requirements are a degree in Biopharmaceuticals with 1-2 years of experience and a high level of English.

The manager will play a key role in gathering and interpreting scientific literature, serving as an ‘evidence-based’ platform, to communicate information about Eurodrug’s products with the medical community and its marketing managers worldwide.

The Medical Director will develop, implement, support, and promote strategies, research, and programs in public health that drive the delivery of high-quality healthcare to create a sustainable competitive advantage (including clinical trials and health economic studies).
